World Environment Day is June 5, but at Collective Elevation, this is more than a date on the calendar—it’s a global reminder of our shared responsibility to protect the planet we call home. For us, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword; it’s the foundation of everything we do. Every step of the process, we are committed to growing, processing, and delivering cannabis in a way that honors the Earth, nurtures our communities, and sets a new standard for what environmentally responsible cannabis can look like.
Rooted in Living Soil
Our cultivation practices begin with one of the most regenerative tools in agriculture: living soil. Unlike sterile, synthetic grow media, living soil is a vibrant ecosystem teeming with beneficial microbes, fungi, and organic matter. This natural biodiversity helps our plants grow stronger and more resilient, all while reducing the need for synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.
By using natural growing processes, we create a self-sustaining environment that promotes healthy plant growth and supports continuous soil health. Healthy soil means healthier plants—and a healthier planet.

Packaging with Purpose
We’re committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our packaging. From choosing compostable and recyclable materials to reusing packaging whenever possible, we make intentional, eco-conscious decisions at every step.
We also encourage our customers to reuse or recycle our packaging and exit bags whenever possible.
Local First: Supporting Montana Communities
Sustainability also means keeping things local. Our cannabis is grown, processed, and sold right here in Montana, reducing transportation emissions and supporting the communities we’re proud to call home. We prioritize sourcing from local businesses, collaborating with Montana-based brands that share our values and our vision for a cleaner, greener future.
Solar Power and Energy Efficiency
Our grow facilities incorporate energy-efficient lighting and environmental controls to reduce electricity usage. Our use of natural sunlight further reduces our carbon footprint and adds to the sustainability of our growing practices.
Natural Pest Control
As part of our commitment to sustainable cultivation, we rely on integrated pest management (IPM) strategies that prioritize natural methods over chemicals. One of the most effective tools in our IPM approach is the use of beneficial insects—nature’s own pest control. From predatory mites to ladybugs, these tiny allies help us manage pest populations without resorting to synthetic pesticides. By fostering a diverse and resilient ecosystem within our grow environments, we protect our plants naturally while keeping our cannabis clean, safe, and truly organic.
